The Export Acceleration Mission (EAM) is a customised trade promotion programme by MATRADE for Malaysian companies to explore and identify trade opportunities for selected products and services within a specific target market. For international buyers, the Mission would provide a good avenue to connect and network with reliable Malaysian suppliers and service providers.
The virtual mission will focus on individual business meetings between the Malaysian delegation and local businessmen in the CEE region, particularly Ukraine and Hungary. The EAM will also encompass market insights and opportunities in the form of virtual briefings to facilitate better business decisions.
The four-day programme will witness the participation of 13 Malaysian companies from the Food & Beverage, Electrical & Electronics, Medical Gloves, Fuel Additives as well as Palm oil and Coconut oil-based products segment.
In 2020, Malaysia’s total trade with Ukraine and Hungary amounted to USD354 million and USD686.5 million, respectively. Over the same period, Malaysia’s total trade was valued at USD425.34 billion.
